365 New Days of Opportunity!

I like what a new year offers to us. It means that we have a clean sheet of paper to fill with new opportunities that will bring possibilities of glorifying our wonderful God through our faithful commitment and service. That's a lot to think about. When I look back over the past year, it becomes exciting to contemplate what God will do over 2008. It will be challenging, but I'm anxious for the journey!

I want to say "thank you" on behalf of Lena and myself, for the generous expressions of love by our church family, friends, and our children that were extended to us over the Christmas season. It reached a point of being difficult to express enough gratitude, but we are so thankful to our Heavenly Father for each of you.

If you are reading this blog, then you recognize that I'm trying one more time to re-establish this way of communicating more often. Let's hope that I can keep it going this time.
